"A Day Job and a Dream" is the lead song for "Hits They Missed", a charity album put together by some CA and Nashville producers featuring songs that were submitted to the American Idol songwriting contest, but didn't make the finals. (January 8, 2007) "Liquid Sunshine" is a finalist in the country category of the 2006 SongDoor International Songwriting Competition, and another song of mine, "Don't Listen", got Honorable Mention.

Over the next two weeks, the song will be competing with 4 other songs for a panel of 6 professional judges, including Jason Blume and Marc-Alan Barnettte, and if it wins its category, against the other category winners for the grand prize (a recording session at Jay's Place in Nashville).

Nationally syndicated radio host Tom Leykis played the Internet hit "Do the Right Thing" on his nationally syndicated radio show on Tuesday, August 1 in a discussion of everyone's favorite J-dater, Darren. Atlanta's favorite morning radio show, The Bert Show, played the song on Friday, August 4, and the Scott Mills Show on the BBC followed up with a play a few days later.
